Kevin is simply the best athlete in the state. Period. The 6'5 wing possesses a 44" verticle, and combined with his long arms and wiry frame, Smith uses his freakish athleticism in all facets of the game. Smith is developing his guard skills nicely, and is even running some Point Guard now in high school. Though he needs work on his outside shot, Kevin has all the tools to become a big time player at the mid major division 1 level, and has the form to make me believe he will become a solid shooter once he gets reps at the next level. Smith will be one of the most sought after wings in the south for the late signing period, but is under recruited right now. Arguably no player in the state plays with as much passion as Kevin does, and he has already become a defensive stopper, able to guard 4 positions, from point to PF. A real sleeper!!!
